Design Innovation moves beyond artefacts, exploring services, strategies, and business models, while our focus on Communication and Media delves into the role of communication in social change. Creative Industries are vital both culturally and economically, driving growth and innovation.

Our research in Design Innovation addresses challenges in society, ecology, and sustainability. Communication and Media research focuses on the interplay between communication, culture, and power, with expertise in social change communication. Creative Industries research investigates how new technologies are reshaping production and creative experiences, with a focus on innovation and economic impact. Situated within the innovation district of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the Institute connects to East Bank, London’s cultural hub, ideally positioned at the forefront of creative innovation and technological development.
