Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a three-way collaboration between the University, a private or public sector business and a graduate working on a project geared to your strategic growth.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships allow access to the innovative ideas and skills of our researchers, enabling your organisation to achieve its strategic goals.

They provide organisations with the information and resources they need to solve a complex business need or problem.

By entering into a Knowledge Transfer Partnership, organisations will work collaboratively with world-leading academic experts to uncover innovative new solutions that may not have been possible without the support of the University.

The length of the project is subject to the needs of the organisation, and government funding is often made available to organisations to support the partnership. For more information, please visit the Knowledge Transfer Partnerships pages on the Loughborough University website or visit Innovate UK.
