Collaborate with us

By uniting our strengths in research, teaching and enterprise with the strengths of your organisation, we can create innovative solutions to a range of modern issues affecting industry, academia and society.

If your organisation is facing a challenge, our students and academic staff can bring new ideas and a fresh perspective to the problem, helping you to create innovative solutions that would not be possible if you tried to solve the issue on your own.

If you are looking for insight to develop a product or service, our students and staff can help you to understand what customers really want, versus what your organisation or leadership team believes to be true.

Through collaboration with industry, our students are able to transform theory intro practice and shape the future development of a real organisation. They are given an insight into the inner workings of an organisation, and can use this experience to gain valuable skills that employers are looking for in future employees.

There are multiple opportunities to collaborate with our talented students and experienced network of academic experts. Please take a look below and get in touch with our team.

The Collaborative Project

A key feature of the master's programmes delivered at Loughborough University London is the Collaborative Project module.

Over the course of three weeks, students work in small, interdisciplinary teams on a brief provided by one of our valued project partner organisations. The project is supervised and facilitated by an academic Project Lead, and at the end of the project, student teams present back to organisations outlining their findings and proposed solutions.

During the three weeks, project partner organisations take part in presenting the brief to students, watching and giving feedback on the team presentations and attending the Collaborative Project Show – a celebration and showcase of the work students and partner organisations have undertaken.

"Working with everyone involved throughout the duration of this project has been an absolute pleasure. From the outset, both the students and staff were fully engaged with the agreed brief, remained constantly committed to researching and understanding the subject, and we're actively involved in the regular seminars we held. This admirable level of commitment was reflected in the quality of the suggestions included in their final reports, with some of them even being sent to our product management team for further investigation. I would highly recommend this experience to any other organisation!"

Matteo, Solutions Marketing Manager, Alcatel

"The module was both challenging and rewarding and by collaborating with peers from diverse backgrounds, we tackled various ideas and obstacles to work towards a common deliverable. This unique module stimulated my leadership and teamwork capabilities, and provided valuable insights into real-world projects, giving me experience of strategically working for clients and helping solve their business challenges.”

Sidharth Menon, MSc Digital Finance Institute of Digital Technologies.
