ISB Director Attends Women in Sport Reception Hosted by US Ambassador
Professor Andrea Geurin, Director of the Institute for Sport Business (ISB), was recently a guest of the US Ambassador to the UK, Jane Hartley, at a Women in Sport reception hosted at the ambassador’s residence, Winfield House.
The reception brought together leaders from UK and US-based women’s sport organisations and featured special guest Alex Scott MBE, a former professional footballer for England and now a sports presenter.
The reception concluded with Ambassador Hartley speaking to attendees about her own experiences with inequality in sport as a child and her commitment to achieving pay equity for female athletes.
